so, case in point that we are a generation of whiny narcisists, this young man showed up (late!) to my 18th birthday party & gave me this photo of himself, as a present.

granted, it was a joke, & a brilliant one, & he’s cüt…buuuut, why do we have so many “its all about me” jokes? b/c t this point its a GIVEN that people of self-absorbed. dang, we suck! no, im not joking, there, we really do suck.
but hey, at least we suck with high self esteem, b/c after all, no one’s as beautiful as me,
right?
